Well, I'm embarrassed I stayed in studying and stressing all weekend. I did just fine; got an 'A' on my anatomy lab test, too, so I'm feeling pretty relieved.
In other news, Isidore may have missed us, but we're officially on "tropical storm watch" for tropical storm Lili. (At least, that's how I think they're spelling it.)
Her bow-wave is here. It sounds like someone's dumping marbles on the roof of the LRC, where I'm writing this from. When I entered the building, Ross University was in a solitary and ever-shrinking column of sunlight, as the iris of the storm closed in -- now everything is eclipsed in a wall of grey water. The clouds were magnificent: towering, brilliant, flawless, overreaching a limitless ocean of whitecaps and one tiny green speck of land -- St. Kitts. Odd how island living makes one feel small.
The rescheduled catamaran trip (go figure) is slated for this Saturday at 2:45 pm -- unless Lili gets here first. *Sigh.* I'm going to try to go snorkeling tomorrow, since I missed my usual weekend trip (too busy stressing out about the histology exam). Guess I'd better check the weather first.
Going to go jump in puddles! Yay!
